Lent is a spiritual journey that prepares me for Pascha. Jesus fasted for 40 days in the desert and went without any food or water or anything. So I try to follow in Jesus footsteps as much as I can. I try not to eat meat and on certain days no fish or eggs. I try to not sin and be nicer to people and listen to my parents and treat them with extra respect. Because its preparing me for Pascha, I try to stay away from things that aren?t Holy, such as violent videos and movies. Lent to me means trying to become closer to God.
