Parenting : Meeting the Critical Challenges of Effective Parenting March 02, 2013 10am – 2pm Join us as we invite Dr. John T. Chirban to visit and speak with us on parenting. Dr. Chirban is tours the country giving lectures and has authored several books as well. This lecture is open to all so please register online to reserve a seat.

Dr. Chirban has served on the Advisory Board of the Dr. Phil Show since its inception. His current research includes a national study on the impact of divorce of children and parents, the survey hosted on Dr. Phil’s website http://drphil.com/speak_main/. Following a working relationship with B. F. Skinner (The Father of Behaviorism) spanning two decades on psychology and religion, Dr. Chirban is completing a psychohistory of Dr. Skinner based on their extensive library of recorded interviews. Dr. Chirban’s recent books include How to Talk with Your Kids about Sex (Thomas Nelson, 2012); Holistic Healing in Byzantium (Holy Cross Press, 2010); What’s Love Got to Do with IT? (Thomas Nelson, 2007); True Coming of Age—A Dynamic Process that leads to Emotional Well-Being, Spiritual Growth, and Meaningful Relationships (McGraw-Hill, 2004); Raised in Glory: Orthodox Understandings of Death, Resurrection, and Immortality (Holy Cross Press, 2002); and Sickness or Sin? Spiritual Discernment and Differential Diagnosis (Holy Cross Press). He is a contributor to numerous scientific journals, popular magazines, and a frequent guest of television and radio talk shows. Dr. Chirban lives with his three teenagers in Carlisle, MA. Ariana Maria, Anthony Thomas, and Alexis Georgia.
